Eric Scott Leathers, LLC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing industrial processes from inception through start-up and beyond as well as planning and implementing both process optimization and quality improvements for current production processes. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred in addition to 3 plus years of experience in manufacturing. A strong knowledge in manufacturing practices, ability to comprehend manufacturing costs and make improvements in processes such as cycle time reductions, defect reductions, etc. and strong organizational and leadership skills are important, as this position will be responsible for ensuring that production processes are working at an optimum level, to the right quality and quantity of output, in order to meet supply need. This position will also analyze and evaluate existing production processes, research, design and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow as well as having the ability to read and interpret engineering/customer drawings, finished prints, specifications, and schematics for proper application to production processes.
