SOURCING & MATERIALS COMPLIANCE MANAGER:
Eric Scott Leathers, LLC is seeking an experienced Sourcing & Materials Compliance Manager that can thrive in a challenging and rapidly changing environment and has the ability to work cross-functionally within the company, as well as globally with suppliers.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing the global sourcing strategy for raw materials and finished products (domestic & international), maintaining supplier relations including coordination of contracts, terms, training, meetings, conferences, education, marketing programs and customer service & product issues, and overall responsibilities for the logistics of the globally sourced products. This position will also develop product compliance protocols and ensure all safety and compliance protocols are followed, including Prod 65, REACH, CMRT, etc.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Mathematics is preferred in addition to a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A strong knowledge of supplier qualification processes and supplier performance metrics is preferred in addition to knowledge of integrated ERP systems and world-class supply chain practices. Eric Scott Leathers, LLC is seeking an experienced Cost/Process Engineer.
Responsibilities include providing a complete cost engineering service to both project and production management as well as planning, directing, and implementing both process optimization and quality improvements for production processes and maintaining the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field is preferred in addition to 3 plus years of experience in cost control. A strong knowledge in merchandise pricing techniques and excellent communication skills are important, as this position will be responsible for interpreting drawings, specifications, and essential documents for thorough preparation of quotes. This position will also create BOM’s and routings for production and analyze products costs to ensure profit margins are being maintained. Strong leadership is a plus for making recommendations regarding project status and identifying areas of cost savings opportunities utilizing lean manufacturing best practices. This position will also ensure that production processes are working at an optimum level, meeting or exceeding quoted material/labor costs. Eric Scott Leathers, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Manager.
Responsibilities include ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying issues, developing corrective measures, and implementing quality control systems. This position will ensure all materials & finished products conform to our company and customer requirements for quality, safety, and reliability.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field is preferred in addition to 3 years of relevant experience. A strong knowledge of formal quality programs and excellent communication skills are important, as this position will be responsible for serving as the management representative of the Quality Management System to all internal and external parties.
Additional responsibilities include developing and reviewing standards and procedures for all functions and processes, reviewing and resolving quality assurance concerns, creating PPAP submissions/processing PFEMA documents, overseeing various quality testing functions, supporting and performing internal auditor training for ISO compliance and supervision and development of all quality personnel. Current knowledge of ISO 9001, C-TPAT, Prop-65, REACH and other regulatory bodies is very useful in addition to experience with varied computer systems including ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.

Eric Scott Leathers, LLC is looking for a part-time team player that has the ability to multi-task. This position will be responsible for running local company errands (picking up and delivering daily mail, picking up machinery/maintenance parts, etc.), operating the laser machine when needed, janitorial tasks and other duties as assigned. Interested individuals must be able to do heavy lifting (60 lbs. plus), have a valid Class E driver’s license and be able to provide a clear MVR (motor vehicle report). EOE
