Where It All Began
Our story started in March 1985. What began as a small leather goods operation quickly grew into something much larger — thanks to the passion and dedication of our early team members. In fact, one of the first employees we hired that December is still part of our team today. That kind of loyalty and long-term commitment is woven into everything we do.
Milestones That Mark the Journey
Over the past 40 years, we’ve grown in size, scale, and capability — but our commitment to craftsmanship has never wavered. Here are a few moments that shaped our path:
- 1985: Founded and hired our first employees.
- 1991: Moved into an 80,000 sq ft facility built specifically for us.
- 1993: Purchased our first automated stitching machine.
- 1997: Became the largest domestic producer of time management binders.
- 1998: Opened an internal machine shop to create our own production tooling.
- 2001–2002: Expanded globally and entered the motorcycle market with leather-wrapped saddlebags.
- 2005: Began shipping products directly to consumers via EDI.
- 2006: Became the largest producer and importer of cut-and-sew checkbook covers in the U.S.
- 2010–2015: Invested in automated cutting technology, dye sublimation, RF sealing, and completed our first company acquisition.
- 2020: Responded swiftly to the COVID-19 pandemic, pivoting to manufacture PPE to support our communities.
- 2021–2024: Launched rugged product lines using heavy canvas and leather, vetted and added new overseas partners, invested in high-volume belt production, and introduced the Vieve brand — a Made-in-USA offering for direct-to-consumer and corporate gifting.
